Thanks to Kelsie last night for filling us in on the minimum wage in America. She earns $2.15 an hour plus tips. If her tips earn her more than her wage she doesn't receive a wage. If her restaurant is quiet then she is stood down at any time and doesn't get paid. For those lucky enough to get employment outside of the service industry you can bank on around $7 an hour. Certainly an eye opener.
